Sources and licenses

Fluera is first and foremost our learning product: we design the course, choose vocabulary, write explanations, and build practice so words move gradually into active memory.

Open language data is used only as an additional layer for the dictionary and some examples. It helps with words outside the course, but it does not replace Fluera’s authored learning program.

Course content

Lessons, curated vocabulary, grammar explanations, and core exercises are original Fluera materials. They are provided only as part of the product.

We keep this layer separate from the external dictionary: course words are manually selected, tied to topics, and used in controlled practice.

Additional open data

Sometimes a learner needs a word that is not yet in the main course. In those cases, the dictionary may show additional data from open sources.

The sources below are listed because their licenses require attribution. This is reference information, not a recommendation or paid placement.
