What is Fluera? A language-learning app

Fluera is a free language-learning app for building practical vocabulary and using it in context. It brings short lessons, a personal vocabulary, review sessions and quick sprints into one clear learning path — on the web, iPhone and Android.

Learning that starts from your level

When you begin, you choose the language you speak, the language you want to learn and a comfortable starting level. Fluera then opens a path of topics and lessons suited to that choice. You can start with basic words or move directly to more advanced vocabulary instead of repeating material you already know.

Each lesson combines new words with translation, pronunciation, examples and varied exercises. Your answers shape what comes next: difficult words return in review and mistakes can be practised separately.

Vocabulary you can actually organise

Fluera is not limited to a fixed course. The app includes convenient ready-made word lists for useful themes, levels and situations. You can also create your own custom lists — for a trip, an exam, work, a book or any vocabulary you want to remember.

Custom lists can be shared with a private link. Anyone who receives the link can open the list and practise it, while the owner keeps control and can close access later. This makes Fluera useful for friends, classmates, teachers and study groups as well as individual learning.

One system for learning and remembering

New material is only the beginning. Words from lessons stay in your personal vocabulary, where Fluera can bring them back when they need more attention. Review is for timely reinforcement, while mistake practice concentrates on answers that caused difficulty.

When you want a quicker change of pace, Sprint turns recall into a short timed session. Ready-made and custom word lists offer another route: instead of following the whole course, you can practise a selection built around a particular goal.
